Hi gang just thought u would like to see a new photo of Meeko this is Meeko when I say Pay Attention....he is almost 5 mnths and time is flying, he is doing very well and has learned to go on the newspaper and not the floor. He like sto go for long walks and when it is nice weatehr we hike in the woods near my place...he has learned sit, pay attention and his name and how to come I dont ven need a leash anymore I only use it when we r near busy streets and such but usually when were int he park he doesnt need one at all he is so good and he only barks when some1 knocks on the door. I have alos taught him to obey hand signals and a bit of sign language! Im so happy with him and if things plan out well i am looking to get him a friend next year. Thank you guys so much. Hi Charlene, I asked Kael what he wanted to write to you about his new home. It took some deciphering, but here's his message: "I came, I saw, I conquered. My name is Kael and I live in Ottawa with Mike and Azra. They give me food and hand me toys from the high shelves, and in return I protect them from an infestation of chewie bones and kibble, which can be quite intrusive if not nibbled upon. Japanese Akita

Hey Guys, About nine years ago we obtained what can only be described as the best dog anyone could ever hope to share life with from you guys. He was the last Akita in a litter you had, he was golden brown and his name was Cody. Sadly, Cody passed away this past weekend and he is greatly missed by the family he left behind. Thank-you so much for making it possible for us to have Cody, no words can express the love and the joy he brought us, he will be missed and he will be remembered for his loyalty, his love and most of all his patience. We think it's fantastic that you post Cody's picture on your website, I know this sounds corny but he truly was the best dog in the world...believe me, he was. We have resolved/decided over the course of the rest of the weekend that we would very much like to have another dog in the family. A few of the breeds that everyone seems interested in are; a Doberman, a Cane Corso or a Beaucero. Mostly a Doberman... Best Regards, Ken LeBlanc

Brittany Spaniel

Hello, I bought a dog from you some years ago. I bought a female Liver and White - Brittany. She was born on October 15, 1999. "Dam - Brown Sugar". "Sire - Roqui". Remington was her name and my husband and I thought you should know that she passed this morning. She was a very healthy dog and never gave us any trouble. She passed due to a broken spine from falling out of bed, she had to be euthanised. We didn't want her to suffer. I just wanted to thank you for the wonderful years we had with our baby girl. Remington was the smartest dog ever and actually rang a bell to go outside. She was also an avid hunter, and fisherman she would actually jump in the water to catch fish. She was also not just a pointer , but she also flushed and retrieved as well. All with no formal training, she just had good instincts. Remington never had pups. She was too busy being a mother to my children. My son is almost the same age, and grew up with her. I will always be thankful for finding your add in the paper and going to your home to pick her out. Do you still breed Brittanys? I know no dog can replace mine, because they all have different personalities. But I am still in love with the Brittany. They are a great family dog, and are so gentle. Just wanted to send along our first pictures of Sasha (9 weeks). She is doing really well and fitting right in with our family. After having her only three days she is already scratching at the door when she needs to go out and she even sits and gives paw...I am amazed, she is a wonderful pup. Thank you for a beautiful puppy. Saint Bernard

This is my saint with my 7 month old... In one of the pics my son is sitting looking at her and he has a yucky face on well that is because Chevy just licked him and her tongue covers his whole face he doesn't like that... When my kids are outside she gets a little too rough, she doesn't really understand that she is as big as she is so we just tie her up to a short leash for a little while, she tends to knock my five year old over all the time. She is a really good go fetch dog for some reason, she loves her tennis ball... In one pic she has just been shaved and has very little hair... We did this this year and she really feels cooler, and the lady did a really good job on her... She looked really funny though especially her tail... I hope these pics help your website... She is by far the best dog we have ever owned, too bad that they have such a short lifespan... Her father was Hannibal and her mother was Sweet Marie... just so you know... thanks lacy

Hey there, I just wanted to give you an update on Sabrina, I got her from you when she was just a pup. She just turned 8 last November 12th. She is an awesome dog, well I shouldnt say dog, she is a member of my family, and my best friend. I wanted to thank you for her, but I should have called her the wonderer. She has been with me from Ottawa, to B.C. back to Kingston Ontario and soon back to Ottawa. If I'm in the area with her, maybe we will stop bye. Here are acouple of pix of her now. Shih-Tzu

Hi Charlene. How are you? Well we are doing great with Caper. He is so spoiled. We went camping on the long weekend in May with another couple and they were making fun of me and the dog. Where ever I go the dog as to come with me and on that weekend it was very cold. It rained and hailed while we were camping. Caper has this favorite blanket it was my oldest daughter's baby blanket that my mom made me when she was born. It is made out of flannette. we were outside sitting in front of the fire Sunday aftrenoon and caper wanted to come out of the camper with me. I went and got him and his blanket took him out and wrapped him up like a newborn and he slept in my arms for an hour and a half. Even had his head covered. My friend was hoping someone would come by and ask to see my newborn and then get the shock of their life to see that it is a dog. He is our baby. My youngest daughter has out grown her lawn chair so my husband said that the lawn chair is for caper when we go camping and for our backyard. My husbaand is as bad as I am. I really don't know what we would do without him. He probably weighs about 10-12lbs.. When he went for his last needle he was 8lbs.. My middle daughter started a habit with him that when ever she got up in the moring or come in from school she would scatch his belly. Now we have to do all the time. My neighbours love him because he is so good with the kids and he never barks. There is so much more to tell you about him but it would be a 3 page email. I now have to shadows. My 4 legged shadow and my 2 legged shadow(youngest daughter). They both need my attention. If my youngest daughter wants a hug from me and he is around he will get in between us and start to cry so we have to pick him up and hug him too. When my husband says my shadow wants me I always ask him is it the 2legged or the 4 legged shadow and most of the time it is both. I am going to try and send you some pictures after I send you this email. Could you let me know if you got them. My neighbour is interested in getting a dog this summer and I told them about your kennel. I still have your website marked under my favorites and I am pretty sure I kept your directions of how to get there. If they are interested I will give it to them. Hi Charlene, The pup is great, his name is Jake. His energy level is great and he's growing like a weed (already up over 30 pounds!). He's busy and into everything of course, but he's a lot of fun, and my wife and I are really enjoying him. He's traveled from Ottawa to Nunavut, to Newfoundland and is now living in Stony Plain, Alberta. He's doing great, will celebrate his first birthday in a little over a month. I am julie, the Chinese girl. Just want send some pictures of my two little dogs, they are very well at home. Especially the little Dachshund his name is Kaka, he is really smart and very naughty. he likes to play balls and toys. but always bark a lot, which makes me crazy. Dear Charlene sorry about getting this to you so late. I misplaced it. We were at the vet today and Maverick Got a clean bill of health. He weighed in at just about 10 pounds.We love him so much. He is spoiled rotten. He has toys all over the house. He is a social butterfly as we call me. He loves people, other dogs and cats (cats don't always like him though) He had his first swimming adventure a few weeks ago. He doggie paddles very nicely. I have enclosed a portrait of him I did a few weeks ago. He is a ham in front of the camera. ( Good thing since mommy is a photographer) Thanks for everything. American Cocker Spaniel

We purchased our American Cocker Spaniel from you in December of 2005. We decided to name him "Bentley". Just a few words regarding our little rascal and let you know that he is doing well. He is intelligent & BIG suck for lovings. Bentley has brought a lot of joy in our life. We absolutely love him. He is a very good dog. We have lots of compliments on him.
