Evening, Just thought I'd drop you a quick e-mail to give you an update on Reese. The trip home was excellent. He whimpered a bit on the dirt road so we stopped the car, gave him a bit of water and turned the cage facing forward so he could see us. He slept until we got to Aylmer. Stopped for a pee break then continued his sleeping until we got home. He's adjusted very well, even leaned how to climb stairs already. Going down is another story. He had his first vet visit and all checked out nicely. Gave him a dose of Revolution for heartworms etc. and had the vet check him because he has a persistent and annoying itch which causes him to cry. We picked up some medicated shampoo and he is getting some relief now. We also noticed that he had some bad diarrhea with blood in it. Brought a sample to the vet for analysis and were informed that he has a parasite know as coccidiosis which is being treated with antibiotics. He suggested I get in touch with you because chances are pretty high that others have the same thing. The anti-biotic is ApoSulfatrim. Other than that things are great. Hello Nicole and Family! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TORQUE!!! I can hardly believe that our puppy is a year old today! Time really does fly when you are having fun..... Torque is doing excellent! He is happy, healthy and oh so energetic (ALWAYS!). He loves everybody and gets on beautifully with other dogs - all he wants to do is play with everyone!! His newest hobby is the sport of agility, we have just finished our first puppy introduction class and start a new session next week -- he loves it and boy is he fast!! He is a constant source of entertainment, as he is quite the joker and can always put a smile on our faces and entice us to play - he loves to play tag, we chase him and then he chases us. Here are two very recent pictures of Rusty, looking good and busy at what he does second best!! His biggest talent is running wild all over the place and that is very hard to capture on film!! It would be just a blur!! He and I will be on Roger's Daytime (channel 22 here in Ottawa) at 11am on May 12th and 13th, next week, to promote the Dogmania event happening May 14th (and of course our own company Bite me!!). Hi there Charlene and Nicole, I know it's been a while, but we have been very busy here. Anyway I am just dropping you a note to let you know that the puppy you delivered on that faithful icy and freezing cold day in april 2003 is now a very very handsom gorgeous 130 lb 2 1/2 year old, who keeps me very busy. I see you still have the picture of him on page 11, and yes he is quite a converstion piece around Bowmanville. For a bit there we were struggling with who was in change, but now we have it worked out and we share the responsiblity( ahahah). We named him Mickey, and he's wonderful he's like a miniture Polar Bear. He has the sweet disposition, that you will be hearing from us again soon to get another baby. Thanks again guys for our Mickey Shey fairborn P.S. Here are some pictures of his growth, these were taken last spring he has grown much since then YIKEES! |

Hello charlene sorry pictures took so long in coming,top two are when we got max,bottom two are him now,he had his second checkup with the vet,the worms are all gone,he had all his shots,he now weighs 20lbs.,got his dog license today,he is certainly well setteled in now,he is a joy.lots of work can"t wait ti the teething part is over,only one chair semi chewed,he doe"s well in his crate at night,but he is an early riser 6 am.he doe"s well with other people and dogs now,he met my brothers great dane yesterday,that was interesting,noah isa well train dog.again thanks for your honesty and trustful ness,all is well. the lamoureux family |
